I'll start with the pros, whatever few there is: Cinematography & editing were the only things that held up, it's not really visually bad, if we're judging it by what a pg-13 horror can be. With an open mind I watched the 1st 1/3 of their movie, staying positive, but it just went downhill from the starting point. I went in open minded, because of reading a lot of sensibly sounding 5 to 6/10 reviews, and because the trailer didn't seem all that bad. I always thought that the concept would make a good horror movie & I still think it could work, but it definetly didn't with this one. It was years ago when we were playing slender man game in a dark room with friends, trying to get scared, when we absorbed the creepypasta and the whole "mythos" of slender man, if you can call it that.
